The national Citizen's Advice service offers the Adviceguide website where you will find up-to-date information and fact sheets on a wide range of topics, including benefits, housing, employment and debt, consumer and legal issues

It also helps you find your nearest Citizens Advice Bureau.

Directgov has the widest range of government information and services online. It is well indexed and presents information clearly under headings such as "How to find out if you qualify for benefits". It also has up-to-date fact sheets, an index to all manner of online transactions with government and public sector organisations.
